my cars faster than yours, your mum smokes crack, so nernernepoopoo.
Right on Jug!!
I hope thats the last of that! Jeez does it matter anyway?
If its someone lying to sell their car, yes.
Doesn't matter Ross, I guess we take a more cynical view as we mature lol!
Let it go, the new owner will no doubt tell us ALL about it, truth always comes out.
my mum is still a page three model at 69 years old
There is no previous examples or figures. Its widely acknowledged that 80-85bhp from a 1108 cinq with the right mods is possible, so with a cinq thats untested, with the right mods, for someone to estimate 85bhp is reasonable. I know this is a turbo, but there is no reason to quote 140bhp.
Ross
Granted, there's not many HB 1242s about. You can always estimate the power though, which is what Alex did.
The vAD HB 1108 puts out 105-110bhp from their workshop. Now the 1242 is 10% more powerful than the 1242 so it would be fair to say that about 115-120bhp would be attainable. Take into account the headwork, 40mm TB (quoted as 10% increase) etc and 130-140bhp should be well within reach. OK, there's no conclusive proof but you would expect that ballpark figure...
There is a Dutch guy who posts in the CInq/Sei section fairly regularly who has a 155bhp 1242.
i'm going outside to polish my x-wing........later
My Uno has 45 bhp and my Cinq has 39 bhp. Fiat says so. SO THERE! :nerner:
P.S. My dad is 167 years old (have't seen him for 22 years but what the hell), my car has more rust than yours, my mum is still a page three model at 69 years old, my brother owns London, my sister owns Cornwall, I keep Osama Bin Ladan in my loft, I had a shiite so long it touched the water before it left my arse etc. etc. etc.
