Kinda obsessed with the ending to Justin Timberlakes "LoveStoned" so decided to have a go at remixing it. Not got that far yet but far enough to get the melody into it and will get the strings and some kind of lyrics in later.

Just really wanted to know what people think so far! Its pretty much a tech-house/breaks track with some nice ambient bits

Not bad, keep at it As it happens I was listening to it earlier today and was thinking what a brilliant ending it is!

Maybe putting 'those flashing lights come from everywhere' in towards the end there

when you say ending you sure you dont mean the seperate song thats at the end of the lovestoned track? 'i think she knows'

I think it bears little resembalance to JT's track tbh until 1.28 then not for much longer.

The essence to a good remix is to know straight away what song it is IMO anyway, ala

Can work both ways sometimes I think. Chris's sort of remix is the type where it surprises you as to what it is when you first hear the iconic melody. Sort of the point in clubs where everyone realises what it is and goes mad. Granted it is a long time till you get to that bit

I do want to use the lyrics but there isnt any part without him beatboxing over it or the drumbeat etc so its quite awkward to get in. Its all just work in progress though. It probably more of a new track that samples the song rather than a remix altogether. I just love the melody tbh.
