Theres something wrong with my computer it won't let me open other links that pont to other websites

Any idea what is wrong, i'm getting fed up of writting out the address all the time.

I have checked my internet properties and they seem to be all set correctly

sounds like some setting somewhere or other has been changed at some point, easier to reformat and reinstall windows than try and find out how to fix it.

I'm getting a new computer soon so wil be using that instead of this piece of junk,

what op system..?
dont format yet..try doing a rollback to the last time it was working properly..

if that doesnt work..make sure your IE explorer is upto date..run windows update..

have you got your IE settings to empty your offline cache ticked?

dont delete temp files on exit..
dont delete cookies on exit..

its a win 98 operating system, i'm not too knowledgeable with the software side, but the hardware is a piece of pi55 for me so thats why i'm getting myself a new system, and the thanx for the reply RIBs missus but I have no idea what u are going on about but I will find out
