Orange the phone company that is!

Signed up last month for a contract that would give me unlimited texts and 100 mins for £30 a month and today I find out I have a £177 bill as they have put me on the wrong plan

Dont pay it put the complaint in writing and get onto trading standards....

I take it you have your contract in writing??

The thoughts come back though at the very mention of an orange phone bill

Wrote an official letter of complaint stating the issue and asking for the name and address of their regulatory body. It'll make them sh*t their pants. That's what I did with Norwich 'Quote me Suicidal' Union after they renewed an old policy I cancelled over a year ago and took nearly 100 notes off me. The refunded it, then asked for it back and threated me a bit. TW*TS!

YEah I have a contract with it written on so hopefully it'll be simple to sort. However the really helpful woman on the phone has warned me about Orange shops so I guess it may not be as simple as it seems. Going to call trading standards when I get home from work for "advice".

ive always gone to orange directly and the only problem was about 3 years ago when i upgraded they charge the handset only price to my bill, but on calling them they were already aware of the problem and sorted it that day.

Oh, the did disconnect me once for none-payment of a bill although i had paid it and they received the funds in time -apparantly a system error.

Orange were great 10 years ago, put the phrase down the sh!tpan comes to mind, but they still manage to retain my custom!

Hey hey hey, they messed my phone bill up 2 months ago got charged £358 when im on the unlimited text and 500 mins for £15 per month they admited they had messed up recalculated and are giving me my money back and also more to cover mistakes they made i like 'Orange Premier Service'

Hope it gets sorted
