i agree its crap stuff for using around the nads it also hurst when u scrub it into your face,thats the shower gell im on about.

Why put sand stuff in a shower gel
i'd like to point out that the theory behind using sand (and similar) for exfoliation is a perfectly sound theory and has been in use for thousands of years, however common sense tells you that adding a bit of sand to shower gel will not achieve the same results, it will make no difference what so ever to your skin. this is simply an attempt to create a unique selling point, a market advantage, and it depends on 2 critical factors:
1. belief among people that it works
2. a demand for what it does
if products like this sell well to men it shows that we are now at a point where men are:
1. as gullible as women
2. complete poofs who want to be pampered
for a very long time women have been easily suckered into spending vast amounts of money on completely unfounded "scientific breakthroughs", for example shampoos with fruit oils and things like jojoba & aloe vera extracts.
obviously fruit oils cant do anything for your hair unless you swallow them, but basic scientific principles like that are not well known among average jane, they dont even know what a jojoba is!, and they believe if its on tv or in a magazine then it must be true, especially when 85% of a panel of 90 women say it works when they were brainwashed and paid to say that. behind every cosmetic scam there is a sound scientific principle, but that doesnt mean it will do what it says on the tin.
traditionally men have been too sceptical and scientifically savvy to fall for this blatant scamming (apart from schoolboys who buy pheromones), however we are quickly approaching an era where ignorance among men is getting to a stage where they are becoming susceptible to almost anything as long as the tv advert is good. marketing is a powerful tool that can create a demand for almost anything, especially when your target market is ignorant young people.
in the near future i expect to see a range of men's cosmetics similar to that available for women, and with similar pricing. lynx was bound to be a leader in this field because they have always marketed to the under21's, and the younger guys are the easiest targets. they'll grow up to be pampered bitches rubbing god knows what on their skin and hair. suckers!

i personally just use soap as shower gel (without sand) makes my bits go a bit red and itchy (the rest you dont wanna know), especially lynx, i maybe allergic to something in it.
