TV aerial installation still not right after 3 attempts in 8 days!!!!

Short story 15/6 installed in loft, as told as good as outside.
Complained that evening engineer back 20/6. He moved aerial outside.

After both these times picture still freezing.

Complained again, today another engineer back has moved mast amp outside, changed direction of aerial. But noticed when he'd gone one of the elements is bent, checked photos and it was bent after 1st outdoor install!

So haven't complained yet as Saturday night. Picture seems better, but aerial is damaged.

I do not see I have to suffer a 4th visit from this company to attempt to fix my aerial again, surely I have been reasonable. I would like a full refund as have lost all faith in company after three failed installs.

Would you agree I should ask for this and threaten CCP. I have checked the website and its £30 to start claim and as far as I can see thats the only cost....anyone know different?

They can of course remove their aerial.

Anyone think I am OK to go ahead with this? I have plenty of photos of bodged installs to date!!!

Paid £250 for aerial install. Researched after loft install and no one recommends loft intsall.

Cheers

If it was me I'd give them one more chance and politely let them know that if it wasn't sorted this time they should give me a full refund or face legal action.

Hopefully it'll work after then and if not you can pay someone with more of a clue to do the job. Yes, you'll have even more time without television, but at least you won't have to do any faffing with courts or claims companies.

I wish you the best of luck.

did they use a meter thing to set it up or just guess?

i have a really good proper free view aerial in my loft, if Daryl goes up there and bangs it free view picture on the TV that is connected to goes all rubbish.;
in my ground floor bedroom i have half a cheapo aerial just resting on top of TV and picture on that is perfect 95% of the time.

Better off with cable or sky as the tv aerials are going bye bye soon.
That is for analogue TV only?!!

Digital TV, which includes FREEVIEW, will still mean some people need aerials, albeit ones that pick up DIGITAL signals - this is why some older aerials need to be replaced.

Personally, I use Cable for all my needs :D

as said that is the only cousts involved in small claims.
however i wouldnt recommend jumping straight into court action.
send a letter via recorded/special delivery stating what has gone on and what you expect the company to do and giving them a date to comply.
give them at least 14 days.state if they do not comply then you will commence a small claims action

also i doubt its an issue but if the company is say in scotland and you are in england then the court cannot compell the company to pay.
i ended up employing the services of a baliff after taking action on an english company

You're claiming a complete refund for one bent element and the fact that freeview coverage is poor? You will find it difficult IMO.
