Good free letter writing software ?

As per the title please.

I need a program that makes writing formal letters easy, with the ability to have the two address's at the top etc without the need to use the space bar like you do in wordpad.

I did have the worksuite but my daughters lost the first disk like she always manages to do

i usually find a close enough template on the office site
