this should probably be in the insurance section but wont get much attention and i kinda need an urgent answer..
thing is my mate has a clio and he's insured fully comp on it, he thinks he can drive his dad 2.2 tdi mondeo and be insured 3rd party, he's drove up to scotland with me in it a few times (well not really as he does 125 most of the way! )
i thought you had to be a certain age to have this (hes 18) but he seems to think if your fully comp i can drive my dads tdi audi which sounds good lol as im fully comp on my car.
if this was true it means a 17 year old could get insured on a cheap car fully comp and drive literally any car unless there are limits on this.
anyone know where i stand (i'm 17 btw)
