Hi guys, my first post on the forums *waves*..

Anywho, I'm in the middle of my lessons at the moment, I'm 18 and have a Fiat Bravo SX80 (1.2) lil beast! :D

Just wondering where the cheapest place for insurance is?? the cheapest i've found is £1855 TPFT with Direct Line.

Thanks,

ricketh.

As the car has more than 2BHP your insurance ain't gonna be cheap. When I'd just passed my best quotes were with privilege, churchill and norwich union. Oh and Endsleigh. Also give confused.com a try, you're not guaranteed the best quotes from here but it sometimes returns a good quote which you can then get down further by calling and seeing if they'll go any lower.

Good luck on your quest!

You may wish to consider pass plus as well...

Edit: Give Hasting's direct a try too. I'm with them this year as their quote was massively cheaper than any other.

Don't know if anybody will find this usefull but i'm a first time driver and these are the different quotes i got, third party fire and theft:

Direct Line: £1855 / £169pm
Privelage: £1683 / £147pm
Admiral: £2223
Tesco: £2178 / £188pm
Churchill: £1802 / £158pm
Quinn Direct: £1509

based on an 18 year old just passing HIS test with no pass plus, and on no other insurance, driving a Fiat Bravo 1.8 HLX 98'

MORE TH>N @ £845.07

:D

Based on an 18 year old just passing his test with no pass plus when I just done this through MORE TH>N on the 1.8.....

It worked out to £2,192.48 TPO

I had stated that the car was garaged and only 6k per annum.

So unless you are insuring as a named driver on someone elses policy, I would recheck your policy/quote, before you drive your car.

Try routen chaplin 0115 9734437

They're a brokers in Long Eaton (Derbyshire). I'm insured on my stilo 1.6 for £1010 fully comp with uninsured loss recovery (y)

I'm 20 been driving for a year no no-claims though.

I've just gone with ecarinsurance.co.uk there quote was £250 then what my renewal quote was with elephant.co.uk.

Just keep on shopping round. I used confused.com as a guide.
