Just done a couple of silly quotes, and to my shock, i can insure a bravo HGT or coupe 20v (non turbo) TPF/T for the same price as FC on my cinq! (£600).

Hmm, it seems my plans for the cinq may drastically change now

try the turbo you may be surprised, i could insure a 20vt coop for £800 with confused.com

the VT's are about £1100, but its buying in teh first place and then maintaining. can pick up a 20v NA cheaper and not so much of a mare for running costs

I would, but now i'm sealed in for the long run with my car. money is at a serious premium, and I want to see my insurance sub £500 this coming year. (at the mo its £680)

What ever i do it'll have to wait until the summer once ive sorted a few things i need to sell the cinq But theres definately new car options on the horizon

Im 18, 1 years NCB, and im insuring my stilo 1.8 for £850 a year TPFT and european breakdown recovery included which is quite good imo, the project car will be triple that if i finish it for next year (which i wont as i havnt budgeted that far for it)
