Hey guys,

Meant to be picking up the Yellow Abarth on Friday and just tried to buy my insurance off Liverpool Victoria, was a great deal but they need the reg plate number, so I enter it and it says cant be found....

At the moment its just been changed back from the private plate to the original plate number, should I take the quote by using the private plate number or should I ring them tomorrow to see whats going on

I'd ring them. If the plate's only just been changed, then it might not have gone through the system fully yet

ring them up and give them car make, model and number plate that it is changing back too , you need an insurance certificate with that reg number on dvla and insurance databases will catch up eventually

has the tax disk and mot registrations been changed to old number aswell

Hey Adam, the Tax disc and V5 part read the new T reg so im sure if you copy and send these on to the insurance they will catch up eventually

EDIT - Also the MOT shows the re reg as a T plate
