For the past 2 and half years i have been on my mums insurance, as it was too expensive especially with the cosmetic modifications.

I decided i needed to go on my own, i rang the lots of other companies and they were quoting way over £1000. i then went on a site called quote zone. it did about 30 insurers and the next day i had three of them saying they could do better.

I spoke to a guy from endsleigh who had a burnley accent as they based in lanchashire i feel in love with his accent lol any way with my body kit and alloys etc with my age i got a decent price of £770.00 this also included hire car.

I thought it may be of interest if you are looking for insurance :)

im with endsleigh, its supposed to be 60ish squid a month and they know about my body kit-didn't think that was bad-apart from ive been paying 90 quid a month since july as i wrote my mums car off-well it got driven in to the back of it-not my fault!-waiting for the friggin excess to come through then i will aparently get some money knocked off for a while so that it means i have been paying 60 a month.
was the cheapest i could find-but if they offer you roadside recovery make sure u read the terms and conditions etc..... i didnt realise they only towed for 20miles!!!!! also they sent trucks that couldnt take my car (they would of ripped the front bumper off when they picked her up-so waited about 4 hours before i found a suitable one myself and had to pay all 280 of it!!!)

Endsleigh quoted me (18, male) £2100 on a 1.1 punto... and yes, it was only 3rd party fire and theft.

So I avoided them..

But they may be better if you have had your license for more than 3 days like me when i got the quote...

They qouted me the best when i was pricing up insurance on a stilo.

Although they rung me back straight away trying to sell me the insurance which didnt impress me

They told me to leave them alone when I was tryin to get the Tipo Insuredin my name and they didn't even want to insure my dad, wanted him to pay £1600 on his own and anytime I tried to be named they said NO!

Maybe it was cause I was 19 and had me license 3 days as well :p

They don't insure modded cars I don't think so no good for me.

Endsleigh wouldnt leave me alone when i got an online quote, they kept on phoning me for 2 days straight and then i started recieving letter from them asking for me to make an appointment

they offered me a good price though

 the wnankerereres! :( I swear down they told me to go away.. and that confused.com website said they would tell me to go away as well (n)

If you get a quote off their site, you could declare mods (e.g. if alloys above or below a value of £500 for example would affect the premium). Well, at least it used to...............

Yeh it still does! Em was quoted about £329 for the cinq this year, third party with a years no claims. It is a bit annoying when they ring back. but when we get a new car we'll be checking them last. then when they ring we can haggle lol!

I won't touch a company who conduct business in such a manner UNLESS they save me a lot of money.

I think i got 11 calls in 16 hours (stated the exact figure in a previous thread) when i got one quotation online, that should be illegal.

i had a company that said they were going to call at a time we agreed didnt call back then endsleigh called and were really nice, i said id call them back wit my decision and he said it was fine but could not hold the quote over night. He was good with me as i explained id never done this before and went through it again with my dad.
