Just a tip....

2011 I paid £85
2012 I paid £75
2013 They wanted £107!

Rang up, and as I hadn't had a call out, they matched the £75 from last year.

Make sure you call whenever you recieve a renewal from anyone, always pays off...most of the time.

Even better is to buy it through Tesco using clubcard vouchers :slayer:

I suspect you can only do that on "full advertised price"..:confused:

always worth checking out what level of cover you get for what cost too,

no point paying for "european cover" if you live in Scotland, and are never going within 400 miles of Europe,
you may also find getting cover for you + partner with "any vehicle" cover is better value ;),

Why does 'european cover' warrant an additional charge? Is the UK no longer a part of europe any more?

For breakdown, I use startrescue (3rd year running), went in via quidco so got a few bob back and it seemed to be the cheapest out there at the time. They use local garages which is something i have always favoured.

When I had young children I opted out of the "relay services" - as who wants to keep swapping from vehicle to vehicle..??

Nat. breakdown = Green flag have been VERY good for me over 25 years,
currently pay @ £100 for two x memberships of "any vehicle cover" ( including 15 ton Winnebago's + motorcycles)

last year i paid £125 for road side + recovery ( joint personal cover) but got £60.60 cash back via a cashback site.

this year they wanted £125 i rang an moaned that if i went with the AA via a cash back site i could get road side + recovery + onwards travel for £109 and £45 cashback = £64.

so they then offered 15 months cover instead of 12 and a £20 fuel voucher, but that still didnt work out cheaper

Really? I've got home recovery + cover personal to me so I'm covered in any car + onwards travel + roadside cover.

Though I did sign up 3 year ago
