looking for insurance for the frenchy and going though compare the market it has brought diamond car insurance up .. I thought they were women only , dose any one know i will be able to have a policy with just me on it with me being male ?

Nope, they've always insured men.
They've always had to accept men, just before the gender neutral directive they used to price men accordingly just like any other insurance company. Gender neutral directive is going to have made little change tbh. The only thing Diamond have done is market towards females, no different to how they currently do.

handbag cover is a must on CAR insurance lol , i seen it offerd handbag cover and thats why i looked ther
For reference iirc they're part of The Admiral group who own admiral, elephant etc.
Im now iinsured by diamond top qualty Guy on the phone , Knew what the cinq was ( asked what my outher car was ) and he asked if i put a punto engine in it LOL!! so took insurance out just because he was a Lad what knew his centos even know i was insuring a 306

That's the trouble, they give good customer service when buying it, but need to claim or something and its a nightmare. Although if they had the welsh women on the complaints line, I wouldn't mind so much!
I wonder what women do with their handbags since the manual choke was phased out ?
And yet youngest's GF was given a much better quote from diamond than she was from Admiral (alone & our multicar policy) and elephant

But did you tell them then when you called, as often they'll price match.
Actually, she's really savvy when it comes to haggling. She actually told porkies - saying she'd got much, much lower quotes. some companies actually fall for it & come back with a much better deal.
Just shows how these companies are out to screw us over.
