To anyone whos got a 1.2 fiat punto, and if your 17-18 how much did you pay for insurance and anyone got this tracker thing.

I have a 1.1 mk1 punto and 3rd party fire and theft insurance with alloys and exhaust on the polocy and its costing me £330.00 per month insurance and im 19

I'm 23 and I pay about £200 a month

I'm 20, with Ingenie. Pay £250pm with tracker and OEM alloys (added after, they don't allow mods but seem to be cool if you stick to OEM "mods")

I've had a quote for a 2002 Sporting Speedgear.. £235 Fc protected.. for the year

wow, its just unbelieveable the prices, you pay more for the insurance than the acutall value of the car, i got a quote for my 1.2 8v 2004 punto dynamic with this thng that traks your every move for one payment of 5k!!!!!!!

Also another question, if any of u put an aftermarket airfilter such as a k and n, howmany of you would tell them??

I'd hope everyone. Or you may as well lie about how many years you've had your licence for and the fact you're only going to drive 50 miles in a year.

They dont know about half of my mods just the alloys and exhaust

until you need a claim.. then they'll refuse to pay out.

I'm 18 and have a tracker and pay 3grand ish -but it went down by 10% for good driving in the first few months (they sent me money back).

Im 20 passed my test last week and I've got a 2000 reg 1.2 8v.
Insured with ingenie £1700 with tracker
They assess your driving every 3 monthsand your premium can change by 10% either way.
BUT!!! try to find others to add to your policy, if I add my girlfriend to the policy when she passes it'll come down to £700 for the year.

No tracker bud me daughter 18yrs just been quoted £826 for dynamic that s12 onths fully comp

WOW thats cheap

They put the tracker under the steering wheel in the dash next to the fuse board. its only small and not that accurate to be honest i can do a little above the speed limit without it registering so dont really notice it. im 25 and just passed my test was quoted about 1100 but that went down to about 950 after discounts

I do only drive 50 miles a year. Honest!
I was quoted £96 a month on my 1.1L punto (Un modded, low millage )
aged 20 Still too much for me really

'K&N standard replacement panel filter' has been fitted for 1-2 years or so, counts as a standard part

putting as many mature drivers with good driving records on the policy can reduce the premiums as can keeping the car absolutely bog standard
