Hi All,

Without too much detail:

- Bell want £1800 fully comp

- Just rang Adrian flux, they will cover third party fire and theft for £1400 (all mods declared)

- directline will not quote me

- Sky insurance will only do third party fire and theft for £1440 (all mods declared)

- performance direct £1800 third party

- admiral £2700 fully comp

It seems bell are the only ones willing to do fully comp but their mod policy as pants.

Please help

yep read it, to be honest, I simply can't fork out 1800 without mods declared. Looks like 3rd party for me

Go fully comp if you have a crash and the car is a write off and its your fault you get no money to get a new car.

I meant to say if you have TPFF you arent covered for damage to your vehical if its your vault

tiffyrose: unfortunately its too late now. i got insured with adrian flux (who wouldnt insure me fully comp) but the customer service has been the best yet and they do actually know what "lowering means".

but yeah youre right, if i crash and its my fault i dont get anything for it

a smart person would say, in your situation if insured TPFT cost is £1400 and (ignoring bell because you said their mods cover is crap) and admiral want £2700 fully comp

then it is logical to say you have saved £1300 to buy another car should you cause an accident and write off your current car....

I notice however you have a Grande Punto so £1300 isn't enough to replace it should you have a fault, accident.

so my suggestion is drive considerately and carefully and you shouldn't have a problem

When i was insuring my car when i got it they thought that "bucket seats" was to do with lowering and he didnt know what an "removable steering wheel" was

What kind of mods are you struggling with?

I was struggling with lowering with Bell.

However im now with adrian flux and it is all sorted
