None will do it cheaply unfortunately because they class us as high risk. I'm insured with 4Counties on the I-Kube scheme for £1999, this restricts you driving from 11pm to 5am and you get charged £100 for that night if you do drive in those times. Try them and all the comparison sites.

ta mate but tht wldn be any good for me couz i dnt get in till 12 wen im out or if i am at the gf's then i tend tostay late

Stay the night..;)

Just try all the comparison sites and phone every insurance company you can. You can try playing them off against each other, i.e. say "Tesco quoted at £2700, can you beat that?" etc.

paying 4.5k on a 1.4 bravo matey, cheapest quote I got was 3.7k for a 1.2 fiesta, 22 now and had the car for 6 months, just added my mum onto the policy, that brought it down to 3.9k, only way I could do any car was to get a loan from the bank, so I thought frig it im gonna have a car I like, try endsleigh they where cheapest for me, but then that aint saying much lol

Endsleigh quoted £10K for me on an '04 Punto 1.2 8v Active.(n)

eek these prices are scary

my first quote was 900 hundred on my provisional and then with my full licence it went up to 1400 now its back to 900 with a years no claim.

my advice is to shop around everywhere try all the comparison sites and try and play them off each other

there is no good insurance company for 18 year olds tbh

Ring companies dont do online quotes. Your gonna get raped whoever you end up with. 18 = chav = boy racer to insurance companies. Hope you manage to spell properly on application forms too.

LOL @ the last part

Liverpool ... so the same thing ;)

These threads always make me so glad I didn't learn to drive until I was 26 :D

I've never paid more than £1,000, got my first car at 18, I thought that was bad!

Try all the companies, I can spend a good day looking at getting the best quote. Add your mum/dad as a named driver as well, should help with the costs!

If not, start saving!

when I was completing the insurance quote it did ask if the car would be kept on bricks overnight rather than drive, of course I ticked yes....didnt make it any cheaper though :bang::ROFLMAO:
