17 year old insurance

Not many insurance companies take pass plus though do they? well not when i was looking because i was jus going to get a certificate signed as a relative is a driving instructor :)

If you phone some will, I know More Than do.

Wonder if your relative could get in trouble for that...

A fair number do.

Be classed as fraud I'd say ;) :p

hi guys

I passed my driving test today :slayer:

I purchased my car in Febuary and shopped around for quotes before i brought my car and the cheapest i found was £2000 with Quinn, which i was happy with knowing i am inexperienced new driver

so went shopping around today after my test and the cheapest now is £3000, ive been on the phone and internet all day and rang quinn back up and they are now offering me £5500 becuase they no longer insure new drivers

I live in a low risk area and was woundering what you young punto drivers are payin and who with. becuase these seems a little bit steep to me..

cheers

I have a Fiat Punto Mk2/b 1.2 8v active sport btw

That's harsh :( it will come down in time though, I'm 19 soon and my lowest quote for fully comp on a punto t-jet is £978 :)

My first year was Churchill, £1900 and was the cheapest i found, the renewal just over a month ago was £1500 but still the cheapest but i then tried Aviva and they were £1000, but for some reason my mums recent SP30, not yet convicted though, added about £250 to my qoute, i had to put it on because she was also with Aviva and added that on so couldnt get away with it.

Passing at the age of 17, my first car was a Pug 306 2.0 HDI, Quinn were the best for insurance at they specialised in new drivers, HOWEVER myself and a lot of friends found ourselves being ripped off after the 1st year with them, 1st year = £2200 .... renewal came and WHAM!! £3500 a year!!! (both third party fire and theft) none of my details had changed nor had i made any claims ... IMO Quinn are misleading ... ... now with Qwik Fit for my GP .. 18 years of age, fully comp = £2000 ... (plus 10% off all at Qwik Fit) haha

I got my fiat punto 1.1 insured fully comp for £810 fully comp with admiral, but I'm 20, and female. I would get a different car, vauxhall corsas avoid, because they are ridiculous in insurance.

there was one in my 306 ... where i was 17 :)
But that's diesel. It's not turboed for, I can't explain how I mean....
What's wrong with that?
There is nothing wrong with it at all, it's freaking awesome! Unfortunately the  smiley doesn't come up when I type :0, this one does instead for some stupid reason!!

A friend of mine is 17 and just passed his test.

He got insured at i-Kube and saved a bundle.

They do have 1 restriction that he mentioned - you can't drive the car between 11:00pm and 5:00am. It's £45 a night if you want to (lol - car insurance top-up)

My car is insurance is £900 on a 1997 punto with Quinns it takes the **** and i am 19
