Best reply to a thread so far this year I think lol :bang:

Good luck with the insurance situation John, hope you get it sorted soon as (y)

Oh and make sure to get loads of pics up once you've got it :yum:

I like the standard wheels, but like the dealer said you will find these on Bravo's & other GPS's.
Not sure what the dealer is saying there - as they're Abarth specific wheels?

Yes, the Bravo and Sportings have similar styled wheels, but they aren'#t the same.

Abarth version is a lot more "chunky" in my opinion (y)

Ring up your insurers. If they cant find it get them to ring up there underwriters and they will be able to sort it. This is what i had to get tesco to do for my T-jet as they didnt have it on there system.

Hi there,

I have insured mine, pick it up Friday, it's the red one at Research Garage in Nuneaton.

Got it insured through Tesco, will pobably say "Strada Abarth" on the cover note as they had a list of Abarths on their database but none were the Punto.

The lady said on Monday that she spoke with the underwriters and it was in the same group as a Golf, no idea which one and she couldn't tell me what group it is.

It cost about £100 a year more than my Alfa 159 2.4 diesel I have just sold so it must be a fairly high grouping.

Cheers

Duncan.

Hi Duncan! Research are gonna be busy this week...

As long as you get the go ahead from the insurer to insure it as a Strada Abarth (that is funny btw) then that'll be fine. They'll soon change it over in a month or so.

Go for it John! Pick up that bad boy!!
