Are you stupid? Ur uninsured when it has lapsed. End of. You should have sorted quotes before it expires.... Only need a Sorn if the car isnt taxed.

it lapses on sataday but i want more time so i can leave it unsinsured for a few days and not use it cool :)

Safe as long as u dont drive on the road at all. Sods law n all that... if its still taxed no need for SORN. If the tax has expired u need to SORN it or it could get crushed... even if its on the drive.

unable to find insurance before 10% off im praying will work below 800 quid

Adrian flux is official a ass hole company

3 times to change a phone number in there records (failure)
still phone my mum

ass holes on desk

lack of common sense
lets see 1500 last year perhaps a little loyalty

A cheap insurer... Quinn-direct.. £750 for first time 17 yr old driver.. no no claims and currently (for a few more days) on a provisional licence.. breakdown cover etc...

Direct Line company not prefered, they not answering to phonecall, and when I wrote email about changes they just ignore it. So I cancelled the direct debit, they charged me with bullock fees... Anyway now I`m insured at Swinton, found website atwwwdotconfuseddotcom. And there is a very kind woman on the phone all the time when I called them :) Mostly recommended!

If renewing with same company you will be on database as not having made a claim so 1 yrs NCB should be just about auto.

If going with someone else you will need all previous documents so they can contact old company to see if made claim etc BEWARE some companies dont accept NCB from other insurance companies

It would probably be easier for you to ring and find out
