I was recommended to try quinn-direct for insurance quotes on mk2 punto 1.2 active sport, here's what they quoted me :s

17yo driver with pass plus living in a cat c area with my mum down as a named driver, seems a bit high considering on a 1.2 clio my mate gets insured for £2400 without any named driver and mods declared, no pass plus...

any suggestions?

that's madd, cheapest insurance i got was £2000 tpft for a 18yr old, with windscreen cover and breakdown assistance, that's with endsleigh through www.uswitch.com, would've been £1800 without the extras,
that's on a 1.2 sporting and i live in a cat e area and no one but myself is on my insurance policy,

i think ill stick with virgin at £2700 with no interest on monthly payment option :S

and i thought i was unlucky last year with insurers, it'll go down a hundred quid or 2 when your 18, something to look forward to

i was 18 when i insured the stilo with 1 year NCB with pass plus.

1300 a year

I didnt get a bad deal
I put a insurence quote in with 1 years no claims and it was under 1k
Then again there is 3 cars in our family now

Adrian Flux quoted me £2143, so i think by the time my birthday comes along it should drop to abour £1800?

elephant worked out cheapest for me this year on the sporting. Woth giving them a go as thy're not bad with mods

Try getting a quote from the norwich union pay as you drive scheme they work out quite reasonable and also provide windscreen cover, courtesy car and legal.

When are people going to realise different companys will completely different for different cars, people, and places. The only way you will know is the hard way and search them all yourself. For instance Beau's cheapest quote was by far my most expensive!.
