I took about 4 sets of AA rechargable Uniross ones when I went to donnington yesterday and I just managed through the day

i use the 2000mAh Jessops own brand ones!

i find thyre really good

how much are they? I went into jessops the other day looking for a digital camera and thought they were really expensive.

I got my camera from comet instead for £90 6megapixel, 3x optical & 4x digital zoom and 2.4 lcd screen bargin I think.

i used duracell ultra in mine or the sony rechargables, both are good but the duracells last longer, been in the camera for atleast a month and i use it regulary .

how old are the rechargeables?ours are getting old and dont last long.

it varies from camera to camera which batteries to use.

Some will last a whole day on just standard duracells (btw, duracells really arent the best batteries you can buy no matter how muc hthey try to drum it into people, the kodak batteries are superb). Others wont even turn on using standard durracels.

Make sure they are alkaline and not something else. Also, depending on what batteries your camera takes (saying it takes 4xAAs isnt good) it may also take lithium batteries. The CRV-3 batteries work in most cameras that take 2x AAs. they last for months!

I have Maplins 2400 mAh batteries, and have never had to worry about low battery life (was £14.99 for the charger and 6 batteries )
