After a pretty crappy time over the last couple of months, life is getting better and I thought I was due an early Xmas pressie. I have a Canon Ixus 850 which is a superb little camera, but I saw this and the temptation was too great..



The pixel numbers are getting silly now, but when an 8GB SDHC card can be bought for £12, storage isn't a problem.

When I get around to taking some decent pictures, I'll be sure to post them up!

The megapixels are getting stupid considering they're not doing anything to the sensor sizes, so the cameras aren't able to make proper use of the extra MP amounts! I believe they maxed out at around 8-9MP a long time ago and only now are consumer level DSLRs being given bigger sensors to make use of their larger megapixel counts.

Still a very good choice of camera though
