Have a niggling problem which is driving me nuts. Had an Oil Pressure Sensor error come up, checked the part and found that it had broken in two. So changed the part for a new one, connected everything back up and still get the error in MES.
Now the ONLY way I can clear the error via MES is to have the engine running which then allows me to clear the error message. Now as soon as i stop the engine and restart the error comes back saying it's not getting a signal from the sensor P something or other on the fault code.
Now the sensor is brand new, fitted correctly and connected up. So any ideas why I keep getting the same fault even though the parts been changed ?
Mine's a 1.4 16v engine it that makes a difference.
