my heater on 2005 idea 1.4 petrol has finally stopped working it has been on a go slow i.e. starts ok but after a while slows right down then had to turn up to 4 to get going again but now that has finally died .
is this resistor as seen in other posts or more likely the fan itself ?

regards shane

Hi Shane. Probably resistor.. but #4 is FULL POWER.

SO if the motor is tight.. it MIGHT explain it.

Motor is pretty simple to remove.. good info in GRANDE PUNTO section FAQs at top

thanks for that went to remove it only to find the 3 bolts at bottom are not torque
bolts but hex nut bolts and can't figure out what size could not get 4mm socket on and 5mm socket to big?
