Ok, first things first. Does the heater blow out hot air and i mean hot not warm. Second there are two bleed points on the 1.4, first one on top of the rad on the right hand side if looking from the front of the car and second one is near the rear of the engine bay roughly in line with the gap between engine and battery. Most garages forget to bleed the one at the back, so you might have an air lock. Open your heaters to max heat etc then bleed both points and see if anything changes.
