General Body roll

Ive had the tank punps connected wrong way around.

Is the front wiper wiping..but the water going to rear..??

The front wiper works while pulling back on the stalk but the washers spray the rear whilst doing so when I push the stalk towards the dash it sprays the front but I have to put the wipers on to clear the screen

that sounds like the pump wiring..

the stalk operation sounds relatively normal for a FIAT.. cannot remember what the Idea switches functions were like.

I currently drive 5 x FIAT cars.. they are ALL DIFFERENT...

where abouts do you live..?? Carmarthenshire..?

Pushing my stalk away operates the REAR washer jet and pulling it towards me operates the FRONT washers jets and wipers.

So his is wrong somewhere.

I THINK you are BOTH saying that ( counter-intuitively..) ;

you push the stalk towards the FRONT for rear wiper/wash,

and towards REAR for front wiper/wash

that's the general feeling of "normal" I have in a FIAT..

the time I had it , it was a PIA..as the TIPO TD had mechanical headlamp wipers/washers..and they worked with the REAR stalk operation:spin:

swapping the pump motor cables fixed it..(y)

I was just wondering if it would be an MOT fail

I'll remove the black trim under the bonnet and see what's what maybe they've put the connector upside down or something into the pump motor

Any ideas about the steering to the left slightly now I've changed the n/s/f shock
Need alignment ?

I spent a fair amount of time in Llandovery area:)

MOT fail..
technically. as long as you have a switch that RELABLY puts water on the screen ( on demand) then it'll pass,

 remove the rear wiper - then it's not being classed as serving the REAR

though I'd spend 1/2 hour swapping the plugs on the tank motor 1st

see my basics guide:https://www.fiatforum.com/miscellan...-clogged-screenwash-pump-tank-focus-tdci.html

Normal recommendation when changing shocks is to do them in pairs, as now you have one new shock and one old one both operating slightly differently due to age/wear. Hence why it's probably pulling to the left slightly (which I assume is the side you've changed).
