2006 diesel model. Hi beams work but dipped won't. Light on dash comes on to indicate the lights are on but they're not. No dash indicator for bulbs blown. Checked the fuses and they're ok. Fog lights working.

Any ideas as to what this could be?

under the tall IDEA body , it's actually a mk2 Punto mechanically
do a SEARCH of the punto 2/B section for this fault.. does come up every now and again.. sometimes switchgear related..,maybe a relay..??

1 suggestion,
unclamp the steering rake adjuster , and move the wheel up + down a few times.. see if it has any effect..,
as there are LOTS of wires all crammed into a small space.. easy for a connection to be at the stretch point..!!,
