I just wondered if any forum members reside in the Fife or Edinburgh area.
I have had my IDEA for 3 months now and have only ever seen 1 other IDEA on my travels.

While I dont have an Idea (although musing one as a Brava replacement), I have seen a few in the levenmouth area in fife

live south of edinburgh. bought mine new in 2006, seen a few about , not many

I'm up near Aberdeen, and have an Idea 1.3 Multijet & my wife has a 1.9 JTD Doblo.

We passed one on the motorway to Fife a few months ago and waved furiously. The only other time I have seen one it was on the back of a recovery vehicle :-(

Are all IDEAs orange??

Hello I live in Leven Fife, bought our/wifes Idea end of last year, I have a Doblo 1.9d , do any of you find the gearchange sloppy on the Idea, I have just forked out considerable cash for two cables, just waiting for a good day to get them fitted.

I stay in Edinburgh and can't say I've ever seen one.

We used to own one - bought in Glasgow, then sold in Dundee when we moved to Forfar.

I thought it was a fantastic car, but we sold it as my son has a large size buggy which consumed most of the boot space. Moved on to a Stilo MW, then on to a Zafira (as my wife wanted more seats).

Anyway, we still see our old Idea in Forfar, and after a few months where we hardly saw any, see quite a few around the Dundee area. And digitalkatie, ours was blue, and we see plenty of blue and red ones around, with the odd orange one around.

When we bought ours in 2006, the dealer had three in the showroom, all Eleganzas, all 12 months old, and ex-fleet/hire - one each of the black, blue, and rust/orange. We said at the time that the orange was a no-no as it would be a pain when we sold it on - and the sales guy agreed.

Is this thread still alive? We live in Rosyth and I got the missus a 1.3 diesel a couple of months ago. I also spoke to a woman in an Idea diesel who was from Crossgates up the road. I've also seen a couple of other Ideas about, tho not many.
