Hi to all I'm new here so hopefully somebody can help me.

I have recently bought an Idea Eleganza, I've never had a car with climate control on it and am having some problems with it.

No matter what temp I select i get cold air blowing out of the vents, sometimes it gets warm but soon after it starts blowing cold again.

What should I check first and what could be causing the problem.

I have tried setting the temp and pressing the auto button but I get nothing but cold air out of the vents.

Hopefully somebody can help me get some warmth into my car.

I have found something else out. The problem of only blowing cold air out only seems to be when the car is stationery. Driving along the heater works.

Has anybody else had this happen to them?

Are you sure that it's not only starting to blow hot because the engines warmed up? I cannot see how the heater system could 'know' that the cars stationary and therefore only blow cold.

Is the coolant the right level in the radiator?
