General Radio keeps switching itself on; help

i own a 2004 idea multijet deisel with the blaupunkt radio /CD . when travelling the radio will switch itself on at any time. this also happens when parked up and ignition switched off, ie overnight in the drive etc although it seems to only switch on for about 20mins. anyone else with the same problem and if so do you have a fix please? thanks:bang:

thanks for your help. found the thread from Saltburn and now leave a CD in all the time and the problem is solved.

I have had this problem for some time with my Idea Eleganza 2004 reg
it is most annoying, once we were in a holiday cottage in the Lake District and it started playing while we were in bed, just as well the car was parked just outside the bedroom window.
I will now use the CD in future.

Had this problem on our 2004 Panda and the garage changed the radio/CD unit under warranty. It was a known problem with the Blaupunkt unit....not that this helps you much now.

i have just started getting this problem and it drained the battery overnight by bringing itself on.
i was just going to take out the fuse and then replace it on the weekend but can't find the fuse for the radio. anyone help?
