Hi guys,

I have just bought a lovley new Stilo Abarth 2.4 20v, and Im made up with it, the in car entertainment unit sounds fine but is lacking some umph when it comes to bass and low range sounds, I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the fiat optional extra unit, how easy it is to install, if the wires are already in place for it and if it's compatable with the standard head unit in the Abarth.

Sadly my car does not have the dashboard computer but hey the way I see it is less things to go wrong, after my dad had a Fiat croma Turbo i.e. with eletric everything, the features are nice but not being able to adjust your seat because it's switch is bust is not good.

So I would appreciate any advise.

I have just moved from a fiat cinquecento sporting which I installed 2 12" JBL's 2 6x9s on the back shelf, 2 8" round jbls in the doors and 2 4 inch jbls in the dash with a JVC head unit, sounded wonderful, but it was easier to do with the cinque because lets face it, the car doesn't exactly have interior hehe. My dad has inherited it along with it's sound system and 144k milage.

Look forward to your responses, go for the factory approved or just slap a small box in the boot.

Warren
