Hi, back here again, but this is a very good place to get advice, and members like bozzy have helped me a lot so appreciate it;)
Its time to fit my aftermarket head unit in tomorrow and I can figure out how to do this, just leaves one other thing. What is the best place in the Stilo to fit the 6 disc cd changer. I am thinking the boot but how can I wire it round to the back, would I have to pull apart a lot of things in order to do this.
Your advice would be very appreciated, or even someone that has gone through this before would be of tremendous use. No doubt I may probably blow a few fuses along the way.

Hi Badkilla, I did this recently too. Because I had an amp in the back some time ago I had a power lead running through to the back so i was able to tap into that power source.

Check to see if you have a cigarette lighter socket in the rear and you can use that for power.

Using the mounting brackets on the cd changer I screwed it to the floor of the boot using one of the tie down hook bolts thats already there. If some chav wants it out he's gonna have to work at it. Getting the connector to the head unit is easy. Thread it down the back of the right hand side of the head unit cage into the dashboard channel, through down by the footwell and then thread it through the center console. As it comes out the back end of the console go under the rear carpet and under the rear seat. From there its inches away from the cd changer.

Let us know how you get on.
