O.k so went to my m8s today with ma amp, 6x9's and wiring kit but go 0% done! This was because we spent about an hour looking for a way to get the red (power) cable from the battery into the car! WHERE IS THERE A GAP TO PUT IT THROUGH!:bang:
Also when you look under drivers side footwell everything seems to be sealed off and same on passengers side, am really stuck and am getting quite pissed off with it! pLeAsE HeLp.....(y)

a lot of people have this problem. there's a few options;

1. find an original rubber grommit used by the existing wiring loom to pass the wire through the bulk head, then retrieve it behind the dash (dont know where on your car, its usually eaiser to find from inside car)

2. drill a new hole through the bulk head (carefully!) so you can decide where the wire will go. make sure your hole does not leave bare metal (paint it) or allow water to enter easily (use a grommit)

3. pass the wire through a wing, then into the door way so it can enter the car at the same point as other wires from the door. (not sure if you can do this, think door wiring may be a big plug and think wing inner and outer may have no gap to pass wire into door way)

4. use an internal source of 12v that is permanent (not ignition, cig lighter or glove box light supply often work ok, especialy if taken before fuse box), this can pop car fuses depending on where you cut into the wire. on many cars this is the easiest option, on some cars it isnt suitable, especially for multiple amps.
