hi, i need some feedback on this:

http://www.currys.co.uk/martprd/store/cur_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0948261985.1164818182@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccddaddjhimjhffcflgceggdhhmdfhn.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=603053&category_oid=

basicly its a "BELKIN IPOD FM iPod Accessories"

fits into an ipod, and your car stereo picks up the radio waves so you can listen to the ipod through radio

i`m after some feedback on this, things like quality of music, apprently belkin is a good make and this is a cheaper option.

the other option would be to get a kenwood cd changer splitter which from kenwood cost about £60

anyways, whats your opion please

ty in advance

i have a kenwood stereo, and its only has the cd multi changer output 13 pin thing, so i would say no, as i said i can get, from kenwood splitters costing about £50-60 so that cd and ipod can go though it, but i would also need a ipod jack to rca lead for this to work

so thought it would be cheaper and probably easier to get this fm thing, tune it in and bingo, but i wana know wether they are good sound quality etc

i got my stereo in 02 so irc this was b4 ipods were arround

isnt the ipod fm thing a bit of a grey area as it is classed as a radio scanner?
and whenever i have heard them they are really bad sound quality.
I would go with the direct splitter thing, yes it's a buit more money but you'll only end up buying one after the fm signal thing anyway cos it is so bad!
save yourself money and do it right first time! (y)

I'm not sure about all the negativity, I had one off ebay and it was fine, it wasn't a great stereo so wouldn't notice the quality difference like I would on the stereo at home- but it all depends on what you are after! I never had any bother, no interference, sound was always crystal clear, though like I said I didn't have a great stereo so if you are a sound junkie you might think twice (though if you were a real sound junkie you wouldn't be listening to compressed files in the first place!) :p

EDIT: I need to fix the cig socket in my Stilo to try it out there, but when I do I'll let you know how it sounds. ;)
