Hi
I've tried 5541 but it does not work. I've tried checking the numbers I gave you and it is correct... Except perhaps the last digit of the model number, but it looks like a six... See attached photo (hope it attaches OK).
The radio was working, I've had the car two months and suddenly it asked for a code one morning. Could it be a more serious problem?

I've checked it again.... 5541 is the correct code for the radio in your photograph.
What does the display show immediately before you enter the code?
How are you entering the code?

It says 'ENTER CODE ____'
I use the radio preset buttons.
One thing I noticed when taking out the radio was the plastic brackets that hold the front to the metal body are broken. I know I didn't do it because someone has bodged some velcro there to keep it on. So I put the body back carefully and placed the front back on via its electrical connector. It seems to sit OK and the radio comes on.... And asks for the code!

It's worked!!
I turned the ignition to the first notch instead of on.... Entered the code.... On it came.

Ok, so I have finally got around to removing the radio, a quick youtube video and it was pretty easy.
these are the numbers I have.

Yes I've done something stupid, I swapped a good radio from one of our scrap Fiat 500 cars into my daughters roadworthy Fiat 500, forgetting that there would be a code. It's a standard Fiat Blaupunkt one so hope you can find the code for it, and I'm happy to make a donation. Cheers.

Good afternoon guys and gals. I was wondering if you could help. Had to change my car battery and now its looking a code for the radio. Long story short my old radio the on button never worked so I had to buy a new radio from an old punto at a scrap yard to replace my old radio. Which I still have but I'd need to figure out how to get it to turn on in the first place hence why I bought a second hand one. New radio is a Grundig radio. Fiat F199 CD Serial no. FA588871210286 and the other code I think is 034460. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I'd be happy to make a donation to the forum! Thanks in advance.
