The one and only code for fiat radio thread.

thank you,
any idea how to get the radio out as to get the codes?

There are 2 special wire tools, but you could use 4 pieces of stiff wire about 3mm diameter.

Guys

I've just bought a 2007 GP 1.4 Sporting. I can see no radio codes in any of the paperwork or books that came with the car.
I think i'm reading this correctly, the owners manual would indicate that the radio and ECU are somehow married, and unless I change one or the other then I wouldn't require a code.
Is this correct ?
I'm taking the battery off at the weekend to do some maintainence work on the car.

Thanks

Hi I have an abarth 500 I need the radio code if I give you the chassis number can you give the code to me ?

No... I can only get codes from the numbers printed and stamped on the back and sides of the radio. Post all the numbers and I will let you know if I can get your code.

Fiat dealers can get radio codes from the Chassis number (VIN). In the UK they charge up to £35 for it.

Hello,

I managed to get some sea water in my stereo at the weekend which broke it completely (long story) i have since been able to purchase a similar stereo on ebay from someone who had replaced theirs but has since totalled the car so no longer has the unlock code for the one i have just bought.

I believe it is a Grundig F199 CD (made in 06 I think) with a serial number:
FA599261064432
7354162290

not sure if anyone could help and would be more than happy to donate to the forum if I can get a code for this. From all the other options i have tried it looks like the stereo is to new to be able to get the code from one of the online websites.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I found a sticker on the back with : 73850183555 fiat 312 black mp3 SB 05 can you give me the code pls ?

You've posted an 11 digit number, it should be 12 digits preceded by BP. This number may be stamped into the side of the radio.

There should also be 1 or 2, 10 digit numbers somewhere on the radio.
