Hi there,

Simple problem really, incredibly simple for most of you most probably so I hope you can help :)

Car in question is a mk2, and a rear speaker packed in due to my loudness. I can't be bothered to get a sound system so I just want to replace what's already there.
I got a set of 10cm Fusion's (which were by far the BEST they had out of the 10cm's - imo ofcourse...). After modding the actual screw brackets on the speakers by hacking off 2, and filing down the edges of remaining 2 so it'd actually fit into the car, I then needed to get help on wiring.

Basically I got wires that came with the speakers and need to somehow connect up these speakers.

If anyone could help me that would be great.
If more information is needed, just say! :D

Thanks a lot!

Either way man, whichever is easier. If I have to replace the wire I suppose it'll have to be done.

But prefarably if I can just use the existing wire that would be great! At the moment, the wires that are already there are wired into a little connector block that will then plug into the speakers. But on the Fusions there isn't a little connection socket for it to plug into, just 2 metal areas for wires to be soldered on..
Question is, which wire goes where and would it be best to cut the wire thats already there and connect to speaker?

Thanks for reply! :)

Oh okay cool, any idea which wire goes where?

Basically, theres 2 wires that are already in place on each side left n right, and 2 metal areas on each of the speakers for them to be connected to.
Is there anyway I can know which one to connect them to?
What's the most important, if I get it wrong will I damage the speakers, wiring, or my HU?

Thanks again btw :)

Oh okay, so basically I have to try my luck. If it's wrong, try again.

Thanks alot for your help dude! Really helpful.
If anyone happens to know which wire would go where that would be awesome.

Thanks again!
