If anyone can help me i will be very grateful

I have just removed the standard blaupunkt cassette/radio from my Y reg Fiat Punto Sporting and replaced it with a Sony CDX-M800 cd/tuner. When i am using the tuner, the sub works fine. But when i am using the CD player, no sound is heard from the sub at all. I have no idea why this is. If anyone knows how to fix this, or has had the same problem, please let me know. Cheers!!![!]

The sub is the standard sub that comes factory fitted

If the sub is working fine with the radio then its a mystery as to why it wont work with the CD player?? Something like that would suggest the HU is the problem. Have you tried it in a mates car?Have a car audio specialist look at it.
