Just rescued a Fiat Scudo from the scrappers. It's all on the road now and everything apart from the fuel gauge and the origional Clarion radio is working.

is there anyone on the Forum who can get me a radio code?

And preferably tell me how to input that code.

96 392 195 8
serial no: CL040 14097 4833 c

For Clarion radios, I need the bar code number.

It will be C7000000 followed by 4 numbers.

I'm afraid that I've given you all the numbers that are on the radio.

The only bar code number is the one that reads:

CL040 14097 4833 c

If that doesn't help then I'm presuming the old Clarion is sunk...

Thanks again for your reply.

Sorry for the delayed response.

The van has been away to get the sills welded and it just came back today.

When I turned the radio on to try the code which you so kindly supplied it read Error 6.

Previously it has just said code. maybe the welder tried too many times to enter an invalid code and the radio is now dead?

It seems that the Radio Gods do not want the Clarion to live.

"ERROR 6" means that a CD has been inserted the wrong way up. if you are able to remove the CD, the radio may then ask for the code.

Hi,

There was no CD. But the error code just vanished when I started the van today.

It then asked for the code. I inputted the 5461 which you suggested but it just came back with an Error 7.

I suspect that now means it's not going to work but thanks for trying.
