Apologies if this question has already been asked but I couldn’t find it! I have juts bought a grande punto 2008 1.2 and it doesn’t have an aux. I really don’t want the hassle of a radio fm transmitter so believe that upgrading the radio is the way forward.

Is it as simple as buying a radio off Halfords, taking the old one out and plugging in the antenna and power cable in the new one? After searching forums I have come across something to do with the ignition switch and radios draining the car battery, is there something I need to do to avoid this?
