Just trying to rig up my amp and it's asking for a permanent live. The cable is already fused so pulling it through the bulkhead to the battery would require chopping and rejoining the cable which I don't really want to do if I can find something inside the car.... but I don't have the first clue where to look.

Is there anything I can tap into to give me the permanent live? A rough description of where it is and maybe a colour would be very useful

I'm thinking maybe tapping into the headunit feed?
