Hi all

I've recently bought a 2017 Tipo 1.6 Multijet and I've put a load songs onto a memory stick. It's a 32 GB, formatted to FAT32 and the songs are MP3 files. I've got two problems. Firstly, the first and sometimes second song of about half the albums I've put on the stick are not recognized when I put the stick in the car. When I put the stick into my PC, they're there. Secondly, the music keeps stopping and the display says 'no USB' or something similar. If I unplug the memory stick and re-insert it, it recognizes it and starts playing again, only for it to stop again pretty soon.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated with these frustrating problems!

Sounds like the usb terminals in the head unit may need a clean

I have an update: I copied the songs onto the memory stick again, but used a lower bit rate. Now, every song is there when I plug the stick into the car's USB port. As regards the problem of the music regularly stopping and there being a connection issue, I've cleaned out the USB port with contact cleaner. I'll try again later and see if it's worked. Thanks for the advice.
