Hi guys, hope you are able to help,
Daughter has bought a Punto 53 plate (2B model? it's the facelift one) which has a factory fitted radio/cassette.
She wants to fit the Philips radio/cassette and separate CD changer unit from her old Cinquecento. This worked OK in the Cincy, straight swap, but wont work in the Punto? Does not do anything at all, like no power, nothing
Read somewhere that it needs wiring adapted, but not sure as to what, there are 2 or 3 different 'solutions' around, and don't want to 'blow up' anything!!
Help would be much appreciated, as the young lady misses her CD's!! :)

hi

have you just gone plug and play using the existing ISO connectors.

if so you probably do not have an ignition switched power supply as a punto has an CAN bus supply from the car's computer.

All you probably need is a switched power supply from the cigar lighter (use a fuse for the stereo) of directly from the fuses under the steering wheel and it will leap into life
