Hi,

I've just installed a Sony MEX-N4000BT into my GP along with a Connects2 CTSFA004.2 steering adapter. Everything seems to work swimmingly except the SRC button on the steering wheel which turns the headunit off instead of changing the source, for some reason!

This headunit has the source and Off functions on the same button so maybe it thinks I'm holding the button down or something?!

Has anyone had a similar problem?

Thanks

I just received the following from Connects2 support (in less than 4 minutes after I submitted the support case!)

"Inside the interface box there are 4 dip switches please put dipswitch 4 to the off position and then reset the system for a few mins, this will convert the stalk interface controls to Sony data commands."

I haven't tried it yet as I don't have the headunit release keys at work, but it sounds very hopeful!

Yep I can confirm that this worked!

The DIP switches are inside of the Connects2 module which requires gently prising the casing open and removing the circuit board. You'll then find the DIP switch block on the back of the board. I just flipped the number 4 switch down and everything started working properly. This switch was labelled "Ke" which I guess stands for Kenwood.
