Okay so I have an Abarth punto evo which comes with the interscope system with I believe, a 100W sub (RMS?) in the boot, and I don't know the rest of the speaker specs. If anyone knows please can you tell me haha would help.

I think personally the speakers will be good enough for me at the moment but the bass just isn't enough for the songs I play. Strangely when stationary it is good enough actually, but when you go above 30mph, the bass seems like a half or a third of the stationary level, crazy! So I am thinking about just getting a beefier sub and I guess an amp to power it as the Interscope one is like 30W or something.

Now I am no expert on ICE so I don't know what the best way to go about it, so the thing is how much more power is going to 1. Actually be better and more bassy over stock for me, and 2. All work ok with the standard HU and so I can use all of the new subs potential and not waste it?

I guess what I want is more bass than stock (3-4 times?) and a good brand at the lowest end cheapest price, no rubbish brands. This is something I found not too expensive and apparently JBL is a good brand:

Apparently this JBL sub is 250W RMS while the JBL amp is 120W RMS (peak 280W?) and so should in theory be more bassy the standard 100W (30-50W RMS and a similarly rated amp?)

Added: They're a few more options that I have found (although the brand Boss is questionable to be good or not, some think yes, some no it seems):

Boss Sub 200W RMS with same JBL 120W RMS amp - £95

Inifinity 300W RMS sub with Boss 350W RMS amp - £110

Also I assume I can easily wire them upto the existing wire that the sub is wired to in the boot, as I have no idea where the amp for the interscope sub is in the car?

Thanks
