Just a quick question as I just can't seem to find the answer anywhere on the forum!
I'd like to upgrade the components in the front doors of the GP.
I was just wondering if anybody knows what the maximum mounting depth the speakers can be?
also, anyone got any recommendations? Spent a lot of my rear speakers, sub and amp already so don't want to spend too much if possible. No more than £50/£60 if I can...
I've bought some speaker adaptors just to make fitting them one bit easier.
Just one other thing... There is one wire going to the mid range speaker and one wire going to the tweeter.
If I am going to put crossovers in, should I not use the wire going to the tweeter and just take the feed from the mid range cable?
Or can I just not install any crossovers as the cables has already been crossed over in the wiring somewhere?
I've put a 12" JBL sub running at 350RMS through my amp and boy does it rock.
Only annoying thing is the roof lining, front light (on the ceiling - can't remember what they're called!) and the rear view mirror all vibrate and rattle like mad, which is annoying, but ah well, I guess that's what happens when I stick a sub in my boot!
Anyone got any tips to help stop some of the vibration.
