My apologies for posting yet another thread on help with wiring up a stereo in my Fiat Punto MK2! I bought an after market stereo to replace the radio/cassette one that was in place when i bought it, however i have been ripping my hair out over trying to put the bugger into the car!

I followed several threads and still got barely anywhere apart from going from getting no signs of life to a little. The issue that i am having now is that i push on the power, and it works with the key not in, but when i put in the key and turn on just the electrics, the HU goes dead and will not power back on unless i turn off the electrics and leave for about 5-10 mins

The other thing is that even if i power off the stereo, it seems that it likes to turn itself back on after a while. I have no clue what could be happening!

I did see another post like this on a thread i was looking through but noone had answered which has lead me to this, so if anyone may know, i would be a very happy bunny to hear it haha
