here is my guide to getting the power cable for the amp, throught the firewall in a car. the car i used was my fiat brava 1.6
first of all you need a screw driver for this task, i did it without the use of a haynes manual, but it did take me an hour or so to get it done...
first of all you need to remove all the screws shown below so that you can remove the top panel
after removing the top pannel you will see another filter thing, not sure what its for but my guess its for the air conditioning (if you have got air con)
there is a cover above the filter thing, remove it so that you have better access to the wiring loom hole.
once you have done this you will be able to see the gromit that your car staying dry, push half of the gromit in so you can get a hold of it and pull it out, you then get a drill or something to pearce a hole through the gromit, i had a 2000w amp power wire so needed a drill, after this you need to push the wire through the gromit... when you do go to push the wire through the fire wall make sure you can see daylight from under your dash so you can pull the wire through (fiats have limited space under the dash so you need to get a torch or something so you can work out where the wire will travel)...
now you can replace the gromit and then replace all the pannels and screws...
the rest is up to you, but be sure not to get angrey with the rest of the pannels inside the car... i did and broke a pannel so need to get a new one
