Firstly, I've trawled the forums, google etc to no avail.

Got a bravo 2008 1.9

Trying to fit an aux cable, tried a few months ago put the removal keys in the wrong way snapped the clips. At that point the HU would come out a few inches, but I gave up (I should of sawed the clips off when i had the chance!)

But now, I cannot get the radio out even a milimetre it just wont budge, any advice?

All help is much appreciated!

Thanks

Update: Bravo 2008 Head Unit removal... that old question

An update

I managed to get the HU to move forward about 1-2 inches with a bit of brute force (Always the best solution :D) Issue I have now is, I'd got the dreaded issue of I can't get it out more than 2 inches, and i cant see any clips to saw off or break?

Anyone got an idea?

Thanks

Update 3

Consider this closed, i managed to get the radio out
some tips incase anyone finds this,

I removed that plastic thing directly under the radio, forced a sharp chisel up to where I could see the clip, positioned it at the base of the clip. Got a hammer and gave it a few smacks, clip broke off. Repeat for other side. Radio pulled right out.

I bought a 3.5mm female mounting jack from Maplin, drilled a small hole next to the cigarette lighter and mounted the jack, soldered on the cable from the back of the radio.

Put it all back together, now I have a nice discreet aux input!
